Objection to Planning Application Ref 3899_15 by Aodhán Ó Ríordáin TD and Cllr Jane Horgan-Jones

Councillor Jane Horgan-Jones and I have submitted an observation to Dublin City Council’s Planning Department to object to the planning application (ref. 3899/15) for the lands adjacent to St Anne’s.  We believe that this planning application should be rejected for a number of reasons, which are outlined in our letter.  You can view our submission here:

I continue to urge local residents who oppose this planning application to submit their own objections.  Please note that the deadline to submit your observation is Tuesday 1 December.  You can submit an observation to Dublin City Council by following the steps outlined here:

Object to or support a planning application

You are allowed to comments on all planning applications received by Dublin City Council – either in support of the application or objecting to it. Such comments are called ‘observations’ and anyone can make an observation.

It costs €20 to submit an observation.

 

Submit an observation objecting to or supporting an application

To submit your observation, follow these steps:

Step 1: Write a letter with your observations

In your letter, explain why you support or object to the application. Please include:

  • Your own name and address.
  • The address of the proposed development (Playing fields to the east of St. Paul’s College, Sybil Hill Road, Dublin 5)
  • The planning reference number (3899/15)

Note: Your observation must be submitted within 5 weeks of the lodgement of a planning application. The 5 week period commences on the date the application is lodged with us. To calculate the 5 week period, count 35 days from the date of lodgement.

Step 2: Send Dublin City Council your letter

Send you letter to DCC by post or in person to the address listed below. You must enclose a cheque or money order for €20, payable to Dublin City Council (do not send cash in the post).
