Donnycarney Trad Fest 18-20 September 2015

Donnycarney Trad Fest 2015

I am delighted that the Donnycarney Trad Fest, now in its third year, has delivered once again such a fantastic programme. Donnycarney has such a rich history of traditional music, and it is crucially important that we promote this and take pride in our local heritage.

I would like to thank the organisers and sponsors who worked with me in planning the 2015 Donnycarney Trad Fest: Craobh Chiaráin GAC, Na Píobairí Uilleann, Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh, Supervalu Killester, Dublin City Council and Culture Connect. This festival would not be happening without the generous involvement of these groups and individuals.

There is something for everyone to take part in and enjoy over the three days of the festival. So I hope that you are able to come along to the events and enjoy this tradition that we are rightly proud of.
