In 2015 Ireland celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Nobel Prize-winning poet, William Butler Yeats.
W.B. Yeats spent some of his late teen years in Howth, living in a house above the cliffs on the Balscadden Road.
Join local historian Pat Liddy and Aodhán Ó Ríordáin on a walking tour of Yeats’ Howth.
Meeting Location: Howth Dart Station
Time: 2.30pm
Date: Saturday, 20th June
The Tour will be followed by a cup of cocoa (his favourite drink while writing) and readings from his works at 3.30pm in Wright’s Findlater.
