Yesterday I spoke in the Dáil on the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill. In my speech I made specific reference for the Minister for Health to look at this legislation as the start of a debate for a new referendum to remove Article 40.3.3 of the Constitution. Women who are victims of rape and incest as well as those affected by fatal foetal abnormalities will not be covered by this legislation and they deserve protection. This is only possible with a referendum. You can see me speech at the attached link.
